- What's the deposit, and is it refundable?
- A 25% non-refundable deposit locks your date and holds the room. Final headcount and balance are due 7 days before your event. Cancellations more than 30 days out can reschedule with no penalty.
- Can we bring our own beer and wine?
- Yes — BYOB is welcome with no corkage fee. Our license doesn't allow outside liquor, so anything stronger has to be purchased through us or run by the manager first. We provide glassware, ice, and a bartender for pours ($150 flat, 2-hour minimum).
- What time do we have to be out?
- Standard windows are 4 hours. Daytime events wrap by 5 p.m.; evening events end at 11 p.m. on weeknights and 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. We're a 24/7 diner, but our neighbors aren't — please respect the Poncey-Highland noise ordinance.
- Is there a minimum spend, and what's the cap?
- The Meteor Room requires a $28/person food minimum (the Classic Diner Feast covers it). For groups over 50 we typically suggest the $34 or $42/person tier so nobody leaves hungry. There is no upper cap beyond the 65-person room capacity.
- How do you handle dietary restrictions?
- We can build vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-aware plates into any package at no extra charge. We are not a certified gluten-free kitchen (shared surfaces with our regular diner service), so severe celiac guests should be flagged in advance so we can prep separately. Halal and kosher-aware sourcing is available with 14 days' notice.
- What about parking and getting in?
- Free lot behind the diner off North Avenue, plus 18 metered street spots on Ponce. MARTA's Inman Park station is a 9-minute walk. The Meteor Room has its own private entrance on the patio side — your guests don't have to walk through the main dining room to find you.
